From modelling for the biggest brands to creating their very own lip kit, Kendall and Kylie Jenner can now add published authors to their long list of accomplishments. The sisters took to Facebook for a 40-minute live Q&A on Monday to discuss their upcoming young adult novel Time of the Twins: The Story of Lex and Livia.

Kendall and Kylie, accompanied by their co-authors Elizabeth Killmond-Roman and Katherine Killmond, discussed their inspiration for their story. Kendall stated that they began working on the book while they were still in high school. "We were in school and it was our English class so that was like us graduating English that year was us publishing a book".

Kylie chimed in when she explained, "we knew we didn't just want to do another high school movie, we wanted to go fully sci-fi. I don't know it was just our idea". The sisters wanted to make sure their novel stood out from other young adult books by placing their characters Lex and Livia in a dystopian future.

The first book in the series, Rebels: City of Indra: The Story of Lex and Livia, was a big hit when it was first released. We don't expect anything less for the second instalment in their series, Time of the Twins: They Story of Lex and Livia, which can be found on book stands now.
