Breast Cancer Awareness Month- How you can get involved

This Breast Cancer Awareness month there are many ways that Canadians can get involved! Us here at SHE Canada have outlined a few companies and organizations that are doing amazing work for this cause, and the best part is it's super easy to get involved!

Cashmere

Cashmere is very passionate about raising awareness and funds for breast cancer and they have created several different ways that Canadians can contribute! Cashmere has lounged the Vote Couture for the Cure Campaign as a great way for Canadians to give back and contribute! On the Cashmere Facebook page there are 15 of the Bathroom Tissues Couture gowns on display, all you have to do is go online and vote for your favourite look! Cashmere will donate $1 for every vote to the beast cancer cause! Furthermore, Cashmere also invites Canadians to purchase the Cashmere Limited Edition Pink bathroom tissue, with twenty-five cents from the sale of each pack going straight to the breast cancer cause!

teapigs Joins Rethink Breast Cancer

teapigs is a premium tea brand from the U.K that was brought to Canada in 2014. teapigs offers a unique taste thanks to it’s roomy biodegradable mesh bag that offers plenty of space for the leaves to infuse properly. This season teapigs is teaming up with Rethink Breast Cancer, the leading Canadian charity bringing awareness to young women affected by breast cancer. teapigs is offering $1 off every teapots purchase, as well as committing to donate $1 from every box sold in October and November to Rethink Breast Cancer.

Anita partners with Look Good Feel Better

132-year old German-German-based lingerie and swimwear company Anita,  has just committed to a 5-year partnership with national charity Look Good Feel Better. LGFB has been dedicated to helping women manage the appearance-related effects of cancer treatment. They offer two-hour support workshops in cancer centres across the country with and their partnership with Anita will provide a natural extension to their workshop program! Their workshops provide presentations touching upon Mastectomy bras, which bras to wear during cancer treatment, bra types and fitting tips for overall breast health as well as what to look for in a retailer. Their partnership goes being the workshops, Anita and Look Good Feel Better will be working with independent stores to establish the Look Good Feel Better & Anita Certified Retailers!
