Brooklyn nine nine

Season 1 Episode 10 “Thanksgiving”

Why not celebrate Thanksgiving with coworkers? In this episode, Amy (Melissa Fumero) invites the entire precinct over for Thanksgiving dinner. This episode is filled with non-stop laughter as everyone gets a taste of her terrible cooking while still trying to take down a perp!

Modern Family

Season 6 Episode 8 “Three Turkeys”

Would you trust your husband and son to prepare the Thanksgiving Turkey? Claire (Julie Bowen) clearly does not! As she prepared a backup turkey in case the original turkey does not measure up. As per usual nothing goes according to plan but naturally, the Dunphy’s sort it all out and have a fun-filled family dinner!

Friends

Season 8 Episode 5 “The one with all the Thanksgiving Flashbacks”

Friends is perhaps the first show to popularize Thanksgiving episodes, making them a must in every season. Although this show has so many great Thanksgiving episodes it’s the 80’s hairstyles and overweight Monica (Courtney Cox) that really put this episode at the top of the list! Plus, who wouldn’t want to see Joey (Matt LeBlanc) getting his head stuck in a turkey?

This Is Us

Season 1 Episode 8 “Pilgrim Rick”

Through flashbacks, we learn how Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) and Rebecca (Mandy Moore) started their very own Thanksgiving tradition! Back in present day, we see how the family even without Jack work to keep the tradition alive.

How I Met Your Mother

Season 1 Episode 9 “Slapsgiving”

Slapsgiving is a very important episode in the sitcom as it continues one of the most hilarious long-running gags of the sitcom! As the gang tries to continue their tradition of having Thanksgiving over at Marshall (Jason Segel) and Lily’s (Alyson Hannigan) place, they are interrupted by lots of awkward moments, lots of laughs and definitely lots of slaps!
