Olivier will assist in all facets of the production, from selecting the 12 hues, to designing the packaging, to assisting with the campaign. Per an interview with WWD, Olivier says Balmain and l'Oreal share a " strong vision of femininity and the same goal, to empower women and offer them diverse ways to express themselves." According to him, the upcoming lipstick collection will be an extension of this mutual ethos.
The lipsticks are set to hit the shelves of Balmain boutiques across the United States this September ( after debuting at Paris Fashion Week). A price range has yet to be released, but experience tells us it will not be cheap. Start those ramen diets now, ladies!
