Help Tetley smash stereotypes, literally

4448

On October 19, Tetley is providing Torontonians with the opportunity to smash stereotypes! Tetley will be launching a new collection of super teas, the first collection of teas in Canada that are fueled with many vitamins and minerals. The entire launch campaign is focused on empowering women and quite literally smashing feminist stereotypes!

Functioning very much like a “rage room”, guests will be suited up in proper protective attire, given a bat and placed in a small room filled with tea cups. On each tea cup there will be a stereotypical word written on it such as “weak” or “fragile”- words usually used to stereotype and put down women. It is your duty to smash these cups and end stereotypes!

Along with the experience of smashing tea cups, guests will be able to try the three brand new super teas:

1) Boost (Excellent source of vitamin B6, which is a factor in energy metabolism)

2) Immune (High in Zinc, which contribute to the normal function for the immune system)

3) Antiox (a source of Vitamin C, which acts as an antioxidant)

When: The Tetley Super Tea break will be open Friday October 19th until Sunday October 21st.

Time: The hours of operation are: Friday 12-8PM, Saturday 10-8PM and Sunday 11-5PM. An appointment system has been put in place to make booking easier and can be accessed here

Where: It will be held at 639 Queen Street West! Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to try some new super tea and smash stereotypes!
