Editor’s Pick – Mascara Edition

1998

We can't emphasise enough on our love for fuller and thicker lashes but it means it can even get clumpy if the product or application isn't right. There many brands out there that promise thick lashes but do all stand by what they say, we guess no. We looked around and have come to a conclusion on which ones stand by what they say and work best for us.

  • Too Faced

(Better Than Sex Mascara Mini - $15)

OMG, I can’t praise this mascara enough. I love the packaging, that pink and green tube is everything. It feels so amazing on my eyelashes, they feel like feathers literally. It doesn’t clump at all and lengthens it beautifully. A little product goes a long way.

  • Stila

(Huge Extreme Lash Mascara - $30)

It works best if you are looking for a dark and fuller looking eyelashes. You might have to be careful with the product as the wand tends to get a lot of it. The packaging is so luxurious. Highly recommend and you will get asked if you are wearing fake lashes all the time!

  • Benefit

(They’re Real - $32)

If you are looking for glossy black mascara then I bet you will love this. It coats each lash from root to tip, lengthening and thickening without drying them out. The gunmetal packing is just so different and beautiful. The results are defined, full and fluttery.

  • Maybelline

(Total Temptation Mascara - $11.99)

This mascara should be called 'Total Transformation' instead of Total Temptation. This my favourite drugstore mascara! I love the wand, it doesn't flake and it's easy to remove. The only bummer is that my tube seemed to try out fast but I will definitely repurchase. I love how full and fluffy this mascara makes my lashes look.

  • Loreal

(Telescopic Mascara - $10.99)

Favourite everyday mascara, been using it for years. I use it in conjunction with the L'Oreal voluminous butterfly. The telescopic provides the length and separation of lashes and the voluminous butterfly provides fullness/volume and extends the length. whenever I want to go for a more natural/settle, I just use this one alone.
