Aloe Vera: The New Natural Beauty Product

2781

A product I've recently been in love with is Aloe Vera Gel. Everyone knows you can use this to reduce the feeling of sunburn and moisturize those areas but you can use it for much more than that. I use it everywhere! When I have blemishes I use it on my face and I always put it in my wet hair when I get out of the shower to reduce the frizz of my curly hair. When I first used it in my hair it was a last resort matter because i forgot my hair products, but after I realized this was better than any other of the many products I used. When my hair is wet I used it to add more shine and when my hair is dry I use it to gel my hair to put it in a ponytail or bun because it looks a bit more natural than using the regular hair gel.

Aloe vera is great for acne-prone skin. It reduces redness and the visibility of blemishes. Since it has the consistency of gel it creates a tight feeling to your skin so I recommend wearing it when you go to sleep instead of during the day. It’s know to be a good moisturizing if you have oily skin. But, if you have dry skin like me and want the benefits of Aloe but need something more moisturizing, try mixing the gel with your usual moisturizer. Aloe vera is known to fight aging. The use of aloe on your skin is said to increase collagen production and elasticity. Aloe reduces stretch marks. Stretch marks are a completely natural thing that should be embraced, but if you are self-conscious about yours you can use aloe vera to reduce the visibility of stretch marks.

And, Vitamin E repairs and builds your hair tissue. It also has proteolytic enzymes which help repair dead skin cell on your scalp. Aloe vera can be used as a conditioner to prevent itching on the scalp, reduce dandruff, and promote hair growth.
