The Billboard Music Awards took place this past Sunday at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, hosted by Ludacris and Vanessa Hudgens. Drake stole the show in more ways than one at this year's awards, taking home 13 awards, surpassing Adele's record of the most BBMA's won in one night. Drizzy also delivered a fiery performance in the middle of Bellagio fountain. Some of the awards Drake took home included Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist, and Top Rap Artist.
Cher was presented with the prestigious Icon Award and performed her hit songs "Believe" and "If I Could Turn Back Time", with wardrobe changes for every performance.
Beyoncé won Top Female Artist, Zayn won Top New Artist, Blake Shelton (Country) One Pilots (Rock) Juan Gabriel (Latin) The Chainsmokers (Dance/Electronic) Kirk Franklin (Gospel) all won top honours in their musical category.
The show was filled with performances by Nicki Minaj, Camila Cabello, formerly of Fifth Harmony, Bruno Mars, Celine Dion, John Legend, and Miley Cyrus, just to name a few.
