What to do on Father’s Day

3036
Don't know what to do for Father's Day? We've got you covered! Here are some things to do with Dad this Sunday.

Private food party:

Enjoy your weekend with your closest family and friends. Bring out that BBQ grill and have a nice and fun barbecue party in the backyard. Enjoy this warm weather when you can!

An alternative could be a picnic at the park. Get mom involved with the food prep, dad will sure appreciate it!

Food festivals:

If you want to enjoy your day with a crowd and spend the weekend tasting delicious food around Toronto with dad, go to some of these festivals happening this weekend!

Mississauga Halal Food Festival & Mango Fest

Celebration Square, Mississauga | June 16, 17

*The event is free for admission and parking!

Taco Fest

Ontario Place, West Island |June 15-17 | $9.95-$19.95

*note 19+ event alcohol

Tickets are almost sold out so go get yours now if you’re craving some tacos this week!

The Beaches Rib Fest

Woodbine Park - 1695 Queen Street East | June 15-17

Ontario Craft Beer Week

Find a discount near you this weekend and enjoy some beer with dad! There’s a craft beer market at 1 Adelaide St. E if you’re in Toronto area.

Treat your dad:

to a massage

to a game (Blue Jays plays Washington Nationals this weekend at the Rogers Centre!)

Be active:

Go for a bike or a hike with dad! Those are inexpensive ways to gain some great bonding time with dad while staying healthy.

Or run for a cause. Prostate Cancer Canada does a Do it for Dads Walk Run every year on Father’s Day to raise awareness and funds for the leading cancer affecting Canadian men and the families that love them. So why not run with your dad for a cause?

Early Happy Father's Day to all amazing dads out there! If all plan fails, just give your dad a big warm hug 🙂
