PUMA’s 2017 Collections

Not even a month into the new year and PUMA, the German multinational company, is set to release two new collections for 2017: The IGNITE Limitless collection and The Swan Pack collection. PUMA is known for their creative and innovative designs in athletic and casual footwear, apparel and accessories. In the past, PUMA has also partnered with various A-list celebrities, including Rihanna, who became PUMA's global ambassador for Women's Training in 2015, as well as serving as the PUMA Women's Creative Director for her line, PUMAXFenty.

The IGNITE Limitless collection, which was first released on January 12, includes two new sneakers: the Hi-Tech and Extreme Hi-Tech Training Shoes. The shoes kick off the IGNITE Limitless collection with a new-to-market silhouette and technical tailoring that was designed to help the modern citygoer #RunTheStreets. A few new features of the shoes include reinforced visibility with 3M reflectivity on the heel and tongue, a toe cap that is sealed with PU to keep it water tight and the midfoot cage is supported with Kevlar protective backing that helps durability during your everyday hustle. Celebrities, like the Weeknd, have already been seen sporting the new shoe. The IGNITE Limitless collection can be found on, PUMA stores and sneaker retailers worldwide. It is also available in Canada at the PUMA Lab Queen Street and PUMA Lab Bramalea City Centre.

In a few weeks, PUMA's second collection of the year is set to be released on February 1. The Swan Pack collection has partnered with the New York City Ballet in order to embrace freedom of self-expression. Back in August 2015, PUMA created their 'DO YOU' campaign and the Swan Pack collection carries the message of inspiring women to stay true to themselves into 2017. The collection highlights the strength and grace of ballet and brings together the fiercest Sportsyle and Training styles from PUMA with swan-inspired details, such as a black-and-white colour palette, iridescent materials and feather prints. Featured in the Swan Pack story are Mimi Staker and Olivia Boisson of the New York City Ballet who serve as heroines in the campaign. “To be successful in anything you do, you have to be confident in yourself. No one else can give you that level of confidence. You're going to be the best at whatever you're doing, because you are the best you.” said Boisson. Pieces that are included in the collection are Explosive Bodysuit, the PUMA Fierce Strap Swan, Pulse IGNITE XT, the Swan Cape, the PUMA Basket Heart and the B.O.G. Sock Swan, all designed to be comfortable yet chic for whatever activity you may have. To see more of PUMA's collections, you can follow them @PUMA on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat.
