Jennifer Lawrence is feeling inspired—so inspired to the point she is willing to put her main profession, acting, in the back seat! The 27-year-old star that was ultimately recognized by her performance in The Hunger Games is leaving us hungry for her—but don’t worry, I said hungry, not starving.
Lawrence is said to take one year off of the big screen. That’s approximately 12 months, 365 days, and 8760 hours. The drive behind her shift in attention is her involvement with Represent.Us (a non-profit organization, which according to their direct site, is designed to “bring together conservatives, progressives, and everyone in between to pass powerful anti-corruption laws that stop political bribery, end secret money, and fix our broken elections,”).
The Oscar winner, however, is reportedly returning to work once one of her several projects in development is officially ‘developed’.
Meanwhile, it appears that her days of romance are taking a break as well. She expresses to The Mirror her potential in feeling “devastatingly lonely” during her brief time away with no companion at hand. Let’s face it though, who wouldn’t love to be bitten by the love bug when it comes to her? First actor Nicholas Hoult, then Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, finally mother! director Darren Aronofsky…who will be next?
Don’t stress J Law, you have a gigantic fan base waiting for your return, and those days will be far from lonely!
