Eid Mubarak!

1440
By: Sufia Imam Today (and yesterday), Muslims from all around the globe (approximately 2.1 billion) celebrate the sacred holiday of Eid (ul-Fitr). After a long and challenging month of Ramadan (month of fasting), followers of the Islamic faith can finally sink their teeth into a delicious date, praise Allah for their abundance and give value to the basic needs of human consumption, which are often taken for granted. The next Islamic holiday, Eid al-Adha, will take place in late October. If you have any family, friends or acquaintances that are Muslim, wish them an “Eid Mubarak!” Don’t worry it’s not too late; they’ll be glad that you thought of them.
