Started From the Bottom

By Summun Jafri It's been an amazing few days for Toronto's own Drake! On Sunday night, as we've already mentioned, the rapper/singer won his first ever Grammy award in the category Best Rap Album for Take Care. That night, he also released the music video for Started From the Bottom. As a Torontonian, born and raised, I'm obviously over the moon excited about this video. Drake always finds ways to identify with his Canadian fans and represents Toronto for the world to see. The video is a tribute to where he came from and who has been by his side along the way. A shoppers Drug Mart store, what appears to be the Forest Hill area, the CN Tower, and his Started From the Bottom billboard are all featured in the video...along with some familiar faces such as Canadian journalist Matte Babel. The video was directed by Toronto based Director X. Watch Started From the Bottom:
Started From the Bottom is the first single off Drake's third album titled Nothing was the same. The album is scheduled to drop this summer. Can't wait!
