Celebrities’ Holi Celebrations

While many Canadians are celebrating spring with colourful Easter eggs, people all over the world are celebrating a different colourful spring tradition with Holi. Celebrated during Phalguna at the end of February or the beginning of March, the Hindu tradition is an ancient holiday marking the arrival of spring. Concentrating of fertility, colour, and love, today is about the triumph of good over evil. While most Holi celebrations take place in India and Nepal, people are hosting parties all over the world. Here is how some of the biggest names in India (and the world) are celebrating this year.
