Another luxury fashion house  is leaving the much anticipated series of runway shows in the Big Apple. During his #Wangfest party in Bushwick. American fashion designer Alexander Wang has announced that he will no longer be presenting his collections at New York Fashion Week, according to New York Times.

The move will entail combining the pre-collection and main collections into one and separating the label's products into monthly deliveries between October and March and April and September. According to Wang, the move is "widely considered to be a transformative solution for the global industry, breaking out of the conventional fashion calendar".

Potentially diminishing the hype, Alexander Wang is one of the many brands who have left the New York Fashion Week schedule, including Proenza Schouler, Rodarte, Altuzarra and Rag & Bone.
