By: Ingrid Kwong At age 25, Rihanna has achieved more than most people dream of. The sexy Barbadian is a Grammy-winning recording artist, actress, and fashion designer working with British retailer River Island. If she still thinks that isn’t enough on her plate, she has now joined forces with M.A.C cosmetics to unveil a new collection that speaks to her style and persona. The cosmetic brand has tapped Rihanna as ‘creative partner’ for their new collection, known as RiRi Hearts M.A.C. The singer’s first product launch, the RiRi Woo lipstick, a deep red shade that compliments all skin tone is inspired by M.A.C’s famous Ruby Woo shade. As with all the other M.A.C products, the lipstick will have the same killer quality and sleek packaging, featuring RiRi’s signature inscription on the tube of the lipstick. RiRi Woo will be available this May for $16 exclusively at M.A.C stores. The cosmetic brand and the singer have also collaborated on multiple collections of colour cosmetics that will be released later this year. The summer's collection includes two additional lipsticks, a Lustre Drop shade and a powder blush duo. The fall pieces includes four lipsticks, a lip-gloss, two eye shadow palettes and false lashes. The Holiday collection will bring 10 items, such as nail polish, a makeup bag and more lipsticks. Industry sources estimated that the complete line-up, a total of 31 products, could reach up to $15 million at retail globally. Although M.A.C has collaborated with other celebrities in the past, this is the first time the brand has teamed up with a celebrity for a long-term project.
