Vogue India’s Designer Fashion Fund

Back in  2012 Conde Nast India launched it's first ever Vogue India Fashion Fund, the idea is similar to the fund in the US where Vogue helps upcoming designers get financial aid and exposure in order to break into the competitive fashion world. Vogue focuses on turning these new and fresh labels into household names, such is the case for the 2012 winner Pero by Aneeth Arora and the 2013 winner Frou Frou by Archana Rao. This year's winner will receive a fashion spread in Vogue India, a year long mentorship with an industry professional , cash prize, the opportunity to have access to numerous fashion platforms, a mentorship from Vogue as well as PR and media coverage. The panel of judges consist of a multitude of industry professionals from designers Sabyasachi and Suneet Verma to Vogue's editor Priya Tanna and fashion director Anaita Shroff Adajania. The judges will choose 20 of the best designers from the initial entries and on June 24th, these 20 contestants must present their best work as well as business objectives in order to be selected as the top 5 tier.
