We have witnessed the evolution of the jean skirt over the years.  The length, fit, style, wash, and colours have gone through many cycles of change and recurrence.  One thing that has remained the same is it's fashion value.  Irrevocably modish, the jean skirt has a sassy nonchalance that brings a confident look to the wearer.  One of the best things is pretty much any woman can rock a jean skirt.  It compliments almost all styles and body types.  A big part of the reason jean skirts are so popular is their infinite versatility.  You can dress them up, you can dress them down; you can wear them with sneakers, you can wear them with heals; you can wear them to the grocery store, you can wear them to the party.  It's hard to find something you can't wear with a jean skirt.  Lately jean skirts have taken an eye-catching twist of high slits and mid-calf lengths.  We are also seeing the triangle shape with buttons, zippers, and pockets down the front, and funky edge details.
