The South Asian Film Festival, Vancouver, October 2012

The South Asian Film Festival will be held from October 31 to November 4, 2012 in Vancouver, Surrey, and Abbotsford. SAFF will be providing daily screenings of Feature Films, Documentaries, Shorts, and Animation from its participating South Asian Countries – this includes participation from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. The festival is a great way to introduce South Asian cinematic programs, as well as a way to provide networking between Canadian and South Asian film artists. Their mission is to entertain, engage, embrace, educate, and inspire people of all cultures; their main goal is to provide a different means of sharing cultural stories and build a bridge between various cultures through film. One of the best methods of bringing people together is by way of film; it offers a different, more engaging perspective on the experiences of others. We look forward to the upcoming 5-day celebration of South Asian Cinema in Canada.   Visit the link below to find out more information on the South Asian Film Festival:
