Milan Fashion Week AW16

By Deidra Barton All eyes were on Milan last week as couturiers showed their collections for the upcoming chillier season, AW16. Dolce & Gabbana, Cristiano Burani, Iceberg to Prada, Moschino, Emilio Pucci showed off their latest collections from their line with a little help from A list models. This year, we saw everything from glitter to grungy and plaid to floral prints sashay down the runway. Here are some looks that caught our eye. Dolce & Gabbana's winter line is all about living the fairytale. The Italian  fashion behemoth went all out as they presented at Milan. Golden carriages, clocks ticking towards midnight and fairy godmothers were a part of the show and giving off a 'Cinderella'  princess vibe. The models made their way on the catwalk wearing sparkling dresses and colourful and vibrant outfits. A very interesting mashup but surprisingly, it looks amazing. All the models wore a thin head band across the forehead and dark, heavy eye makeup to top off the look. The 59-year-old designer had models such as Kendall Jenner and Karlie Kloss walk the runway, with Gigi Hadid opening the show. 24667208674_310eee8d59_b 31983D9A00000578-0-image-a-41_1456526159156 Vintage and bohemian is probably the best way to describe Gucci's AW16 offerings. This season has definitely stood out as the new collection plays with a lot of prints, colours and textures. 5d6557b771dd39eed83baf74de96db26 4b25 Prada's upcoming collection is all about the history of women. The line was very feminine but also had an edgy touch to them. For this line, the accessories really stood out as the models wore sailor hats, corsets outside of their clothing as well and leather boots.
