Designer by day, philanthropist by night - Michael Kors, the man behind the eponymous upscale brand is much more than a world-renowned designer. Kors has recently been named a United Nations World Food Programme Global Ambassador Against Hunger, and has also announced a brand new partnership with Kate Hudson in the fight to end hunger. Kors' brand has delivered 10 million meals to hungry children since 2013. Kors has also been recognized for his partnership with the American Foundation for AIDS research, and his on going support for the organization, God's Love We Deliver, as well as yearly fundraising during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The first project Michael Kors and Kate Hudson will take on for the hunger-fighting initiative will be to revamp "Watch Hunger Stop." This campaign pledges to donate 100 nutritious meals to children in need for every MK 100 Series Watch sold. Recent additions to the paign will feature two limited edition styles of the Bradshaw 100 watch which go on sale this October. Customers will also be able to make donations to the World Food Programme at MK retail stores during the month of October 2015. On the topic of his partnership with Kate Hudson, Michael Kors announced, "She has a unique star quality. I'm so excited to have her join me in the fight to ensure that no child anywhere in the world goes to bed hungry."
