World Vision International wants to spread holiday cheer to all with their Giving Tuesday campaign. Social media will be filled with #GivingTuesday as people gather money and donations to give while spreading awareness about this joyful day. Donations for the day increased more than twelve times last year compared to previous years, totalling $180 million with the help of the various social media platforms.

Whether people want to give individually or as a large group through a company, giving back is easy! There are several organizations people can donate to on the official website. Canadians can give back to their local community as well by visiting Canada Helps online to see a list of Canadian charities and organizations that participate in the campaign. Those who want to get involved can also search by category, which ranges from education to animals.

Share your story online about why you give back and be entered for a chance to win prizes for your non-profit organization by entering the #MyGivingTuesday voting contest.
