The second annual Canadian Arts and Fashion Awards (CAFA), took place Saturday, January 31, 2015 at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel, where designers, fashion stylists, celebrities, media and socialites all gathered to pay homage to Canada’s burgeoning fashion and arts community. The glorious fashion night was hosted by Yahoo! Style EIC Joe Zee and received full support of presenters such as Elisha Cuthbert and Yasmine Warsame. Joe Zee was also presented the Vanguard Award for numerous years of work with Elle and W Magazine.

Some of the fashion highlights were Sarah Gadon in a stunning moody floral Erdem print and Elisha Cuthbert in a frosted feathered white Matthew Gallagher gown. In a form-fitting Greta Constantine gown, which debuted her baby bump, Coco Rocha presented the Model of the year award to Anais Pouliot, who wore Lucien Matis. Another fashion high point was displayed in socialite Jenna Bitove’s gorgeous red crystal and lace full-skirted ballgown designed by Mikael D.

The awards honoured major Canadian fashion game changers, Marie Saint Pierre won the Outstanding Achievement award, while Mikhael Kale took home the Womenswear Designer of the Year award. Stylist of the Year was received by Fashion Canada’s Editor-at-Large, favourite photographer Tommy Ton received two great awards: Image Maker of the Year, and Blogger of the Year, while shoe designer Jerome C. Rousseau won Accessories Designer of the Year award.
