New York Fashion Week has officially commenced with two of today's most adhered celebrity models Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid gracing the Tom Ford runway. This year, fashion veteran Tom Ford has released the 2018 spring women's collection embedded with shades of his suiting expertise but still retaining the femininity through the application of subtle colours and sequin detailing. Tom Ford has been previously noted as the creative director of luxury brands, Gucci and Yves Saint Laurent. NYFW is set to run until the 13th of September.
Kendall Jenner rocked the runway with her 90's coif which undeniably parallels with her "mommager" Kris Jenner. The celebrity model's black long gown is composed of a dramatic shoulder pad and wrinkled or folded detailing which certainly accentuates her voluptuous form and demeanor.
On the other hand, Hadid embraces the new collection via a pastel pink long sleeved sequined gown with the same should pad and fold detailing. Like Jenner, she rocks the same hairstyle but projects more of a "girl next door type" due to the pastel colour of her gown.
