Chanel 2018/19 Cruise collection proved that fashion and the seas is a match made in heaven

The Chanel Cruise 2018/19 collection featured a 330 ft. ocean liner named La Pausa, after founder Coco Chanel’s villa in the South of France. The venue was set in the heart of Paris at the museum complex, Grand Palais. The massive cruise played as a backdrop for the show inspiring the pieces that bring us to the maritimes; the sailor pants, wave prints, breton stripes, and lifejacket-inspired handbags that scream “nautical” transforming the clothing items into beautiful pieces. Here are some of the pieces that caught our attention from this year's cruise collection:

2. The Mary Janes took the show as the main footwear varying from rubber-soled white or metallic silver

4. The round sunglasses with the clear frames and translucent lenses in midnight blue that we are digging
