Last night Hollywood gathered to celebrate the 89th Academy Awards. Here’s a look at some of the best and worst dressed moments from on the Red Carpet.
Emma Stone stunned in a beautiful Givenchy Haute Couture dress that looked like a piece from the flapper era. Stone not only won on the Red Carpet, the actress also won her category for Best Actress in La La Land. Congrats!
In contrast, her co-star Ryan Gosling’s Gucci suit was not as impressive or flattering. The ruffled shirt he wore underneath seemed to overpower the whole ensemble. It’s okay though, we all know Gosling will be back looking dapper than ever.
Moonlight’s Mahershala Ali looked handsome in his Emenegildo Zegna Courture tuxedo. The all black piece made the actor look extremely sharp as he also accepted the award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role.
Janelle Monae definitely made a statement in her Elie Saab Haute Couture ball gown, but she was not the only one. Leslie Mann also wore a massive mustard gown designed by Zac Posen. Not sure if the actress was trying to pay tribute to Belle from Beauty and the Beast, but you got to give it up to these ladies for going big! (Literally)
The rest of the Hidden Figures cast did not disappoint. Both Taraji P. Henson and Octavia Spencer looked like Queens wearing Alberta Ferretti and Marchesa.
Finally, India's darling Priyanka Chopra wore a Ralph and Russo dress while Dev Patel wore a classy white suit. He also brought his mom along with him as his date! Aw, how cute.
