2755 Crores of Jewels sold

New styles of Indian jewelry and accessories coming soon to a store near you (maybe). The The 9th edition of Indian Fashion Jewelry and Accessories Show (IFJAS) took place in India this past weekend. The show is an International exhibition show and features India's leading exporters of fashion jewelry and accessories. This years event generated 2755 crores over the span of the three-day exhibition, a 10 per cent increase from last year. The items for sale included fashion jewelry, semi-precious jewelry, , scarves, shawls, hand bags, clutches, belts, wallets, neck ties, beads, stones, crystals, head/hair accessories, fancy fashion footwear, tattoos and bindis. Buyers from various countries including Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay, Austria, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungry, Italy, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Netherland, Turkey, UK, Russia, Latvia, Israel, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, South Africa, USA, Australia and yes Canada were present at the exhibition so if you live in any of these countries you can probably expect a new shipment of goodies to buy soon enough!   By Sidra Sheikh
