Heart throb of millions across the world, English singer Zayn Malik does not need any introduction. From a contestant in British music competition, The X Factor in 2010 to becoming part of a boy band ‘One Direction’ to creating history with his music chart busters, this young British-American singer has made a name and place for himself across the globe. He became the first British male artist to debut at number one in both UK and the US, earning himself several awards including an American Music Award, Billboard Music Award and MTV Video Music Award among others. His album Mind of Mine debuted at number one in various countries including Australia, UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand and Norway.
Besides others, Malik released a single "I Don't Wanna Live Forever", together with Taylor Swift for the soundtrack of the film- Fifty Shades Darker (2017).
Born to British-Pakistani father and English mother, Zayn has grown up listening to hip hop, R&B, reggae and Bollywood music. So, it comes as no surprise that he is bitten by Bollywood bug as many others. His recent social media posts tell a lot about his love for one of the biggest film industry in the world. He officially made an entry in Bollywood recently.
He is excited to have sung his first Bollywood song in Hindi language and shot for a very popular Indian magazine cover too. Announcing his debut as a singer in Bollywood, in his interview with the magazine, Zayn said, “It's one of the first songs I have sung in full Hindi, so it is going to be cool to see what the response to that is”.
He also met with Bollywood super star Shah Rukh Khan at an event and posted a selfie on social media with him. He mentioned how he was not a big fan of Shah Rukh until he met to find him a very humble person. Zayn is believed to watch a lot of Bollywood movies often.
His entry into Hindi Film Industry is for sure an exciting news for his fans who love him and would look forward to his numerous Bollywood projects soon.
