Throughout the past years. social media platforms such as YouTube and Instagram have become convenient means for individuals to obtain popularity and money. This has caused many celebrities to utilize notorious YouTubers as 'pawns' to further fuel their fame, as pointed out by Lilly Singh, the most adhered female vlogger of the famous video streaming site.
'Superwoman' threw some shade via her Twitter account.
With all due respect, if you're a "traditional" celebrity trying to enter the digital space on platforms such as YouTube, please do not approach my peers and I as if we are pawns in your strategy. Happy to collaborate as creatives, not destroy my self-worth for your cameo.

Miss me with that, "I want your viewership enough to collaborate but not enough to trust your creative vision" nonsense.

And even still, I'm not going to diss you on the internet, cause my mama taught me better than that. pic.twitter.com/nITXKgBgwP

The irony is that Singh has filmed collaborations with big stars such as Will Smith, The Rock, John Legend, and Charlize Theron.
