The South Of France has been invaded, by the fabulous people of Hollywood and its international counterparts. In addition to the Cannes Film Festival, Naomi Campbell hosted her latest Fashion for Relief charity gala show in Cannes. The charity event first took place in 2005 and has in the past took up in arms for causes such as Ebola, the Haiti earthquake and many more. This year the theme was "Race To Equality" focused on equality for education, healthcare and cultural issues such as gender equality, this year it raised money for the Time's Up Campaign, on theme for Cannes this season given the protest at the film festival this past week. Naomi Campbell was joined by social media runway favourites such as Neelam Gill, Bella Hadid and Winnie Harlow. This celebrated event has raised millions for causes thanks to donations from huge fashion houses such as Dolce and Gabbana and celebrities such as Kate Moss and Leo DiCaprio.
The Fashion Industry is certainly laden with its share of controversies, so its definitely exciting to see a whole fashion event dedicated to incredibly significant causes such as world equality, which truly impacts every individual no matter where they're from.
