The nominees for the prestigious awards show has officially been released! The male-dominant list surprised many as not a single female was nominated for Best Director. Moreover, none of the female-led movie hits this year, particularly Emma Watson's "Beauty and the Beast" and Gal Gadot's "Wonder Woman" did not place in any of the major categories.

The leader of the movies bracket is Guillermo Del Toro's "The Shape of the Water" with seven nominations, followed by "The Post" and "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing".  "All the Money in the World" by Ridley Scott surprisingly garnered three nominations after the sexual misconduct controversy with Kevin Spacey who was eventually replaced with Christopher Plummer. As for television, six nominations were given to "Big Little Lies" of HBO and FX's "Feud" getting four.

The Golden Globes this year will be hosted by Seth Meyers on January 7. It will be telecast on NBC. Below is the full list of nominees.
