Priyanka Chopra Jonas launched her restaurant, Sona, in New York City in March 2021. The restaurant features Indian decor, a curated art collection, and an elegant menu. Her business partner, Maneesh Goyal, and she had the desire to bring the luxury of India to Western Culture.
The duo has now launched SONA Home with a 45-piece tableware collection which features dinnerware, table linens, bar accessories, and lamps. The collection was inspired by the glamorous India; an emerald-white color theme to show Jaipur's rich historic association with gemstones and geometric patterns reminiscent of Rajasthan.
The lamp shades are made of recycled saris and palm trees are painted and embroidered throughout the collection, named the Sultan's Garden Collection. While the inspiration is well rooted from Indian Culture, the collection is suited for a global audience.
