Tommy Hilfiger surprises fashion world with another philanthropic move

2711

Tommy Hilfiger spreads heartwarming news in the world of luxury fashion as it has recently announced that it will be designing clothes specifically for disabled people. The renowned American fashion brand will be exploring a market that is generally ignored by other labels.

The focus is to generate pieces on the basis of "inclusivity and democratization", allowing disabled people to dress themselves with much ease and/or assist caretakers in the process. The 71-piece collection (37 styles for men's and 34 styles for women's) will consist of garments with magnetic closures and velcros as well as adjustable leg openings to accommodate a wide range of disabilities. This the second time Tommy Hilfiger will be producing an adaptive line as it launched a collection called "Runway of Dreams" for kids just last year.
