Toronto-based Filipino designer Tristan Licud justifies why he never falls behind in avant-garde menswear as he recently unveiled his distinct Fall/Winter 2017 collection in the recently concluded TOM* Fashion Week. As always, Licud meshes architectural elements in his pieces and this year, the F/W 2017 lineup consists of mostly black and white crews, joggers, and kimonos with gingham and bold tribal prints.
Licud is an arising Canadian talent who possesses a substantial background in architecture which he utilizes greatly in fashion design. He also works as a Design Engineer for a mechanical engineering company in which he combines both his architectural and fashion platforms to create parts using CAD and 3D works. Further augmenting his fashion expertise in George Brown college, Licud hopes to make it big in the Canadian fashion industry through his technical creativity and Filipino artistic capabilities.
