Travel Guide: Jodhpur, Rajasthan

As the famously anticipated wedding of Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra has jsut taken places at the beautiful city of Jodhpur, Rajasthan, we decided to take this opportunity to provide you with a quick travel guide to check out this amazing city in India!

Jodhpur is the second largest city in the Indian state of Rjasthan. The city is home to the famous Thar Desert, which is hoem to many tourist attractions such as temples, palaces and temples. Jodhpur is a great destination if you're looking to get away from the cold as it's December climate averages 30 degrees C!

One of the most popular attractions is the Mehrangarh fort, which is one of the largest forts in India! This is a former palace built around 1460 and is 410 feet above the city. The fort has now been turned into a museum displaying art, armour and royal artifacts! The museum is open 7 days a week from 9am to 5:30pm!

While in Jodhpur, you can also visit the Umaid Bhawan Palace, which is where Nick jonas and Priyanka Chopra held their wedding! This beautiful palace is the principal residence of the former Jodhpur royal family, as well as being a museum. Part of the palace is own by Taj Hotels who offer 347 rooms as well as free breakfast! The palace is absolutely stunning with gorgeous banquet halls, libraries, indoor pool and spa, as well as a 15 acre garden.
