This year the Toronto Fashion Incubator, a pioneer in fashion entrepreneurship, celebrated its 25th anniversary. The gala coincided with the New Labels competition, a runway face-off between three designer finalists, all of whom spent months developing a ready to wear collection. In front of a star studded crowd and industry insider judges, Sid Neigum, an Alberta native,  came out on top, winning 25,000 dollars and gaining invaluable industry exposure. Among the panel of elite judges was none other than David Dixon, a past New Labels winner and one of Canada's most successful fashion designers. Congratulations to Sid Neigum, look out for his creations on the racks and streets of North America.
