By Priya Kumar Peaches Geldof, 25, was found dead at home today in Kent, England. After an unidentified woman was unable to reach the socialite and former journalist, she placed a call to emergency services to check in on the eldest Geldof daughter. She leaves behind her husband, rock star Thomas Cohen, and their two sons Astala, 23 months and Phaedra, 11 months. Daughter of musician and philanthropic visionary Bob Geldof, Peaches lost her mother Paula Yeats in 2000 to addiction. Her last tweet, yesterday at 10AM GMT featured a vintage photo of the two. The celebrity reaction was swift, but for some inappropriate. Casual rival Lily Allen tweeted her condolences followed by an insensitive Instagram photo in reference to a Twitter war dating back to last summer during which Allen accused Geldof of drinking while breastfeeding her two infant sons. Regardless of what many thought of the free spirited model, her father had the following heartbreaking words to say: Peaches has died. We are beyond pain. Writing 'was' destroys me afresh. She was the wildest, funniest, cleverest, wittiest and the most bonkers of all of us. What a beautiful child. How is this possible that we will not see her again? How is that bearable? We loved her and will cherish her forever. How sad that sentence is. Tom and her sons Astala and Phaedra will always belong in our family, fractured so often, but never broken. Bob, Jeanne, Fifi, Pixi and Tiger Geldof.
