By: Frances Du Last month we reported that songstress Lana Del Rey had been chosen to be the new face of H&M's fall campaign and now we finally have details on the much buzzed about partnership! The theme of the campaign will be "a modern and feminine woman with a soft attitude" and, like we speculated, it will be heavily inspired by Del Rey's retro-inspired look (or as the retailer's creative director Donald Schneider likes to call, "LA noir"). Expect to see lots of tweed and knitwear in powder tones which pay special attention to womanly curves. Along with posing for the campaign, Del Rey will also record a version of the popular fifties tune "Blue Velvet" to accompany a minifilm that will be released by hm.com on September 19th. Apparently the singer and Swedish retailer were very satisfied with the final product and are already in talks of partnering up for another winter campaign. What do you think readers? Are you feeling the fuzzy pink angora sweater?
