'Tis the season and by season we mean fashion season!

As one city's fashion week ends, the next city's begins ensuring we get our dose of fashion on the regular.

New York Fashion Week (NYFW) came to an end last week (read our coverage on it here!) and London Fashion Week (LFW)  began last week.

LFW began with many of today's world renowned British brands showcasing their very best at the "Big Four" event.

One of the most in-demand luxury brands in today's market, Burberry officially revealed its Fall 2017 Ready-to-wear collection at LFW, justifying its timeless and classic designs that have been proven to be consistently appreciated and acknowledged by fashion enthusiasts and goers everywhere.

The event was also a reunion for A-list fashion figures, with the presence of make-up icon Kate Moss, catwalk queen Naomi Campbell, and millennial model-actress Cara Delevinge blessing the event. Despite the anti-fur protest, the runway show ran smoothly with many showgoers still wholeheartedly embracing Christopher Bailey's mini throwback collection.

Presented at the Old Sessions House, the fall line primarily consisted of trench and waterproof coats, bold printed knits, laced dresses, and queen's guard inspired pieces.

The highlight of the show was Bailey's reintroduction of the classic Nova Check pattern, which has been applied to many of Burberry's staple pieces particularly the trench coats and baseball caps.

The collection is a conspicuous reflection of British fashion due to the colours and materials used and many of the statement pieces overlapping one another affirming Bailey's quote "the humour in the British way of dressing."
