SHE Picks: Our favourite sheet masks for all skin types

1991
One trend that's taken the beauty market by storm is the use of sheet masks. Nicknamed the 'lazy girl facial', sheet masks first made their way from Asia to North America, and ever since, they've become a staple in many people's skincare routine. The masks are typically made from cotton, which is cut into a sheet that is meant to fit the contours of the face. The masks are soaked in serums or creams that aids in hydrating and nourishing the skin. The work week has just started but with the gloomy weather outside, we all feel the need for that something extra to make our skin look brighter than we actually feel. Here is a look at some of our favourite brands that carry amazing sheets masks for an affordable price:   Sephora

Sephora carries many amazing brands that create their own sheet masks. Included in that list is Sephora's very own line. Their Sephora Collection Face Mask Pearl blurs imperfections and hydrates skin to give a radiant luminosity. The mask can be purchased in stores or online for $8.

You can purchase a single sheet for $9, or a set of 5 single-use masks for $44. Estée Lauder's innovative Advance Night Repair Concentrated Recovery PowerFoil Mask helps to reset the look of skin. This mask is ideal for firming, moisturizing and evening the tone of the skin. The mask not only provides a protective barrier for the skin but it also penetrates deep within in the skin to lock in moisture. MaskerAide The MaskerAide brand has been receiving a lot of attention and for good reason. MaskerAide Sheet Masks were created for girls and guys on the go whose skin needs a quick pick me up or extra prep before a big event. The non-toxic, eco-friendly and affordable brand creates their masks without parabens, mineral oils, or harsh dyes and pigments -- while still remaining effective.
