TIFF – Day 1

The wait is over, and today marks the start of the much anticipated Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). With the stars flocking to the city, and the streets over flowing with eager fans just waiting to catch a glimpse of their favorite celebrity, the next 10 days are sure to be nothing short of a good time. With the stars in town waiting to showcase their next big blockbuster, the hundreds of movies will dazzle Torontonians for the next 10 days beginning with today’s 14 presentations. We are most excited to see “Looper”, staring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Willis. The sci-fi time travel action movie, is sure is be a hit as it marks the opening of TIFF, premiering at the Elgin Theater at 6:30pm. Also premiering is the great American novel, "Beat Generation" - written by Jack Kerouac and directed by Walter Salles (Motorcycle Diaries). The movie, "On the Road", includes a top star cast with: Kristen Stewart, Kristen Dunst and Amy Adams; living as a generation who is not afraid of breaking the rules as they try to find meaning in life. This is one to not miss, it premiers tonight at 9pm at the Ryerson Theater. We cannot wait to see the stars as they invade our city with their beauty, talent and fashion.
