London, England is known to be one of the go-to cities in the world for big fashion events. The Swarovski Fashion Awards 2017 will take place at the Royal Albert Hall and fashion's most talented designers, models, and public figures will be walking the red carpet. Last year, Jean-Paul Gaultier hosted the red carpet event, but this year there is a different guest in mind. Having worn custom pieces designed by Louis Vuitton, Prada, and Mui Mui, fashion icon Miss Piggy will be interviewing fashion's elite alongside New York's bestselling author, Derek Blasberg.

The big nominations of the night include Rihanna and  Kaia Gerber, the star of the Spring/Summer 2018 runway shows. Gerber is the youngest contender nominated alongside Gigi and Bella Hadid for Model of the Year. Donatella Versace will be honored as fashion's icon, Stella McCartney will also win the Special Recognition Award for Innovation. Check out the video below to see more nominees of the night!

Last year the event the main centerpiece had 8,000 Swarovski crystals shining on the red carpet. Velvet sofas, sparkling candles and sculptures dominated the interior look for the awards. This year's award decor is going to be as luxurious as ever and will not disappoint. The event also raises a large amount funds for the British Fashion Council's Education Foundation to support young talent.
