By Lindsay Cooper The Aga Khan Museum has partnered with the Fredric Roberts Photography Workshops, a non-profit organization led by former Wall Street Executive Fredric Roberts, to work with 20 under privileged students from the Greater Toronto Area. The workshop will provide a classroom setting where the kids will have access to training and critiques from top photojournalists and will be able to work with the latest photography and editing software. With help from photography professionals, the young artists will be honing their editing and photography skills during the week long workshop. After the class has concluded, the students’ art will be exhibited in a sneak peek exhibition, Fredric Roberts Youth Photography Workshop Exhibition, March 19 and 20 and during Our Stories, Our Images, Our Futures April 30 through May 31 at the Ismaili Centre. With the program set to start up in the upcoming week, there is still no telling what we will see in the resulting exhibitions, but it’s safe to say it will be the art of tomorrow.
