Priyanka Chopra, SHE Canada covergirl in 2014 after being selected as the first south-asian face of GUESS, is taking the world by storm again: this time as one of TIME Magazine's "100 Most Influential People". Chopra is multi-hyphenated wonder. This model-actress-singer-philanthropist first began her illustrious career in pageants, placing in Miss India and being crowned Miss World, before going on to star in over 50 Bollywood films. Her Hollywood break came when she landed the role as Alex Parrish on ABC's Quantico and she is set to star in the silverscreen adaptation of Baywatch, starring alongside heavyweights Zac Efron and Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson.

In addition to her works on the small screen and the silver screen, Chopra is known for her position as advocate for education and human rights. Priyanka Chopra first began to raise awareness for children's rights when she was appointed as India's official UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for children's rights and went on to become a spokesperson for the UN's Girl Up and Girl Rising campaigns to promote the importance of access to education. Chopra represents a voice for women everywhere as she continues to overcome barriers in Hollywood, the most recent one being the first South Asian woman to win a People's Choice Award.

Priyanka Chopra is gaining attention in Hollywood and abroad for her drive, beauty, and above all, her down-to-Earth qualities. Fellow co-star and author of the TIME's "100 Most Influential People" article on Chopra, Dwayne Johnson, claims that her recipe for success is her "ability to inspire people to do more and to achieve more". Whatever else is on the horizon for Chopra, we believe that she'll accomplish with style and class -- always exceeding expectations. By Rowan Dalkin
