By Lindsay Cooper Toronto’s One of a Kind is all about bringing people together. For more than 40 years the shop has been a part of the Toronto artisanal movement with its One of a Kind Show, which provides a curated marketplace for creatives. Artists and creators from the city (and often from across the country) flock to the show in order to show off their hand-made projects (both small- and large-scale). While One of a Kind has previously been limited to the physical realm, with their fairs only occurring a few times a year, they have recently expanded to include a year-round online shop. Much like their shows, their online space is a marketplace for approved vendors to auction off their hand-made goodies. With a staff constantly reviewing potential merchants’ applications, they allow only Canada’s most imaginative artisans to appear in their online marketplace. With its stock of gifts, home decor, and accessories, think of it as your own curated, Canadian Etsy. If you are looking for something unique to express your love for that special someone, their Valentine's Gift Guide is highly recommended. We've compiled a wishlist too!
