Many streets around the world are blessed with the dapper and the well dressed, they walk about in shiny shoes, sporting the runway’s latest trends. This sudden increase in fashionably attired men may partly be attributed to Men’s Fashion Week, which occurs in various parts of the world roughly around the same time. Although less known than Women’s Fashion Week, Men’s Fashion Week is just as important. Top notch designers like Roberto Cavalli, Giorgio Armani, Fendi, Gucci, Burberry and Tom Ford, to name a few, define seasonal trends and send their fashion creations down the runway.
So far Men’s Fashion Week 2015 has made its rounds through Milan and London, currently taking place in Berlin this week. The 2015 Fall/Winter shows exhibited strong androgynous influences with clean shaved faces and long locks, along with oversized garments. Suiting still remained one of the strongest components, featured in the majority of collections. Greys and neutrals seem to be the colours for Fall/Winter 15, along with pops of riskier colours such as purple and orange, spotted on some runways.
Although designers are not the only tastemakers, one only has to look to the street to see the fashions come alive in real life. Here is a roundup of some of SHE’s favourite street style looks, where fashion takes true form and facial hair still seems to rule.
