Moschino Fashion Show Recap

It’s been a while since LA designer Jeremy Scott took over as a creative director. He previewed his first Moschino collection on the runway in fall 2014. Scott is enriching each collection with bright or better to say vivid colors and playful elements such as french fries, dolls, toys, fairy tale bears, and floral bouquets. However, within his fall 2018 collection that was showcased in New York on February 21, the designer has proven his versatility of imaginativeness and creativity. The collection was bringing fashion lovers back to 60’s and JFK conspiracy motives.

The showcase was devoted to the outstanding Jackie (Jacqueline Kennedy) whose character has been staying controversial till present days. Her amazing sense of style definitely matched with her alienated, smart and mysterious personality. The Moschino’s designer has virtuously highlighted all the main diva’s behavior traits. Hence, there were verities of models, with green and blue painted bodies and no doubts- it was a vivid demonstration of Jackie’s inner alienated world.

The collection was showcased by prominent models such as Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, Stella Maxwell, and Kaya Gerber- all of them were embodying president’s first lady looks that used to be eminent back in the 60’s; neon and bright-colored skirt-suit sets, complete with matching pillbox hats and floppy hair to boot. Additionally, the collection included plenty of zipper pulls and slick patent leather trims. The demonstration also embedded long night sparkling vintage dresses that jet-setting women used to wear back in 60’s.

Needless to say that Jacqueline Kennedy portrayed not only her own distinguished style back at that times, however, she was a bright pattern of the “Café Society” typical woman, who had plenty of suits, hats and luxurious night dresses in her arsenal. There is no doubt, fashion junkies have connoted Jeremy Scott’s style message. Moreover, Scott himself has a personality that converges with JFK obscured motives.
