Seems like Sonam Kapoor's wedding wasn’t just the biggest event for us, but for the global fashion industry too. While we been closely analysing every picture from Sonam Kapoor's beautiful Mehendi ceremony, sangeet, to the grand reception that took place on May 08.

For the mehendi  lagaai that was in her home, Sonam wore another Anuradha Vakil ensemble. It was a simple outfit that was a melange of pastel colours. Here's a picture of the happy bride getting her mehendi put.

The gorgeous lehenga that Sonam wore for her Mehendi and Sangeet functions reportedly took 18 months to create. The ivory and gold Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla lehenga was a classic choice.

Sonam Kapoor makes for a surreal bride in a traditional red lehenga by Anuradha Vakil and accessorized it with stunning jewellery – a choker, a guttapusalu necklace and multi-stranded matha patti.

Sonam opted for a light colored, grey and off white outfit, and a chevron printed skirt - an Anamika Khanna creation. People had mixed reaction on her unorthodox.

And the celebration just didn’t end there, they had an after party as well. Sonam wore an ivory chikankari kaftan by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla with massive Jadau necklace, definitely a great choice if you want to feel comfortable and enjoy your own function.
