*Toronto Women’s Fashion Week*

Each year, the Toronto Women’s Fashion Week showcases the latest in female fashion from evening wear to tailored business suits. As such a popular event, tickets can be difficult to obtain , but for the lucky ones, visitors can catch a glimpse of what to expect in the coming fall and winter on the catwalk over an action-packed three days of runway shows. Fashion enthusiasts can also learn more about the nitty and gritty behind the industry by visiting “Behind the Seams” events held after shows have wrapped up.  

*Toronto Men’s Fashion Week*

Not a city to leave out any demographic, Toronto also hosts an annual festival celebrating men’s fashion. Also known as TOM, this fashion week features professional and casual men’s styles. Guests can see the very best of Canadian men’s fashion, including names such as Finezza, G.F.C., Kollar, and much more. Attendees can also donate to the Kol Hope Foundation for Children through the Men’s Fashion 4 Hope celebrity charity runway fashion show.

 

*Startup Fashion Week*

SFW is a fashion week that was created to support emerging designers and entrepreneurs. Designers can showcase their best pieces, while aspiring models can audition to walk  the runway. While the show’s main focus is networking for fashion industry  players, visitors can come to see exciting new trends over the course of  the week. SFW focuses in part on wearable tech, helping to integrate fashion into the future.

 

*African Fashion Week*

Established by the Fashion Ready Foundation in 2012, this internationally recognized event celebrates fashion inspired by African roots. Visitors can come to African Fashion Week to support both local and international designers as well as newcomers to the game. A student designer competition allows new talents to make a name for themselves. Designers and fashion enthusiasts flock to Toronto each year thanks to its vibrant fashion scene, where visitors can see the latest from both new and well-known names. Fashion weeks held throughout the year showcase both men and women’s fashion trends that guests can expect to see in the coming season.
