The Deal with Taylor Swift’s New Album & Streaming Devices

3149

While many have been excited to easily get a full glimpse Swift's new album via Spotify, it seems that we'll be welcoming it the old school way. Bloomberg reports that reputation will be unavailable indefinitely in streaming device(s) after the release. Her team has been mum about the decision, but a probable cause is to increase and sustain sales, due to the mixed reactions garnered from the released music videos of her singles, "Look What You Made Me Do" and "Ready For It".

Fans can purchase the new album via iTunes and brick and mortar stores starting tomorrow, although it has been available for pre-order. Apart from the early controversial songs, Swifties can still expect (acknowledgeable) collaborations with Ed Sheeran and Future. Although more potentially reaction-inducing singles are on the way, including "I Did Something Bad", "Don't Blame Me" and "Delicate".
